Full Stack Developer

Overview
Applied Data Science Partners (ADSP) is an innovative data science and AI consultancy based in London. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Stack Developer to join us.
We are looking for an agile, creative thinker is able to contribute to all areas of our business. We implement end-to-end data science solutions which often includes developing bespoke web applications in Python (Django) to bring tailored insights for end users. You will be responsible for supporting our data science projects as well as maintaining and developing our website.
The Role
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
1. Work with our team of Data Scientists to develop bespoke client facing web applications.
2. Maintain and develop the ADSP website (Django).
3. Use modern development best-practices.
e.g. Git / Docker / cloud deployment
4. Help the team understand size and complexity of delivery tasks.
The role will be likely be a fairly even split between mix of back end and front end work including HTML and CSS.
Required Skills
Essential
• Fluent Python with particular focus on the Django web framework
• Excellent knowledge of front-end technologies in particular Javascript, CSS and HTML
• Writing robust and fault-tolerant software
• Understanding of server-side templating languages (e.g. Jinja)
• Experience with Docker, Git, Oauth 2
• Working in Agile environments
• Willingness to learn new techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Collaborative individual who enjoys problem solving and knowledge sharing with others
Desirable
• Computer Science/numerate degree
• Industry experience in a web development role
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• All-round technical awareness of working with APIs
• Interest in the field (Data Science/AI/Machine Learning)
