Optimising Satellite Design with AI
ADSP partnered with the European Space Agency to explore how generative AI could accelerate satellite communications design. Over nine months, we worked alongside satellite engineers to test new approaches, validate performance, and identify practical pathways for adoption. The collaboration produced three proof-of-concept solutions: a neural network-optimised antenna, a text-to-CAD web application that reduced design time to under 20 minutes, and a fine-tuned diffusion model for satellite imagery.
